What was the problem?
Discounts & Coupons were sent via USPS mail, in the Sales Flyer and via email. Client needed to better understand customer segments that were driving sales and those that were buying coupons. They needed deeper insights into the segments that gave a major lift in sales.
How did FiO solve it?
We built a serialized coupon application for the client, to track coupons sent to customers via print / e-mail media.
When the coupon was redeemed by the customer, the system authenticated the coupon validity and marked use statistics against the customer’s profile. Hence, the total spend and coupon response could now be understood at a segment layer level and raw data was sent to BI for analysis.
